For adults
Start at any age
Many of our students are adults: people who played in a school band years ago, parents of students, and beginners who always wanted to. Lessons run in the evening and on Saturday morning, and nobody expects you to perform.

Adults ask
I have never played anything. Is that all right?
Yes. Most adult beginners start with the pad and rhythm reading, and move to a drum when they are ready.
Will I be in a class with children?
The Wednesday reading class is for adults only. The Saturday circle is mixed, and private lessons are one to one.
I played in a band years ago. Can I come back?
Yes. Tell your teacher what you remember, and we begin there.
Book a first lesson for yourself
Tell us on the form that the lessons are for you, and we will suggest a teacher and an evening.
